Dry Cleaning & Laundry Delivery Service – FAQ
“I’ve heard a lot of bad stuff about “Perc”. Do you use “Perc” in your cleaning process?
We’ve heard that stuff too. But, there’s no need to worry. We don’t use “Perc” in our cleaning. Instead we use a product that isn’t considered hazardous waste, and is safer for the environment.
What if I forgot to put my clothes out for you to pickup, or will be out of town on my pickup day?
We’ve got you covered. Just give us a call or send us an e-mail. We can make special arrangements for pickups or deliveries if something comes up and you need something cleaned before your next pickup day.
What if we’re going to be gone to the cabin before our clothes get returned?
Just call and let us know what day you’d like your clothes delivered if the next day doesn’t work for you.
Why does a women’s blouse cost more to have cleaned than a men’s dress shirt?
By far the most common item any cleaner gets for cleaning are men’s cotton dress shirts. Because of that, and the fact that men’s shirts are constructed more box-like, there are machines that are made that automatically press men’s shirts. Women’s blouses are trickier because they have a less boxy shape and things like darts which vary from one blouse to another. So, no machine has been made that can handle this variety, meaning all blouses actually get pressed by hand. The biggest expense in the cleaning process is actually the labor, so with women’s blouses, there is no way to get the lower labor cost provided by the machine that presses the men’s shirts.
